The Official Tweek Website
Hi and welcome to the official website for Tweek

News
31.8.2001
Unfortunately, we have had to pull out of tomorrows gig because Dave has to attend a funeral so we can't play. Sorry. It looks like we're now signing off until Christmas when we shall hopefully return with a new album and more gigs.

Last night's gig wasn't the greatest we'll ever play which is shame because it's probably the best mix we'll ever get. The madness of our adoring, hardcore fans was enough to make anyone laugh though and I know they enjoyed themselves and at the end of the day that's what's all about. Datura and Fallax both played well but both will be shortly splitting up; I hope that isn't an omen for us.

I now know the second support band for the Scuffy Murphy's gig and, much to my surprise, it's Serpluss Dissorder. Quite a contrast in styles but nevermind, it'll be fun.

7.8.2001
The Scruffy Murphy's gig is now definite. The support bands have been arranged but I'm still waiting to hear about them. I believe the first band on are called Gwyllym but that's all I know at this stage.

Yesterday we had our first practise since our last gig. Yes, that was over 3 months ago. The reason being we have confirmed that we are playing at Edwards No.8 on 23rd August with Datura headlining and Fallax opening. We are also almost certainly headlining at Scruffy Murphy's on 1st September but this is to be confirmed.

9.7.2001
We've been offered a gig at Edwards No.8 on 23rd August, however, this cannot be confirmed until early August since everybody is on holiday. If not on the 23rd, this gig will definitely happen sometime. Hopefully Fallax should also be playing aswell.

29.6.2001
Because of the imminent closure of Coolboards.com, we now have a new message board. Unfortunately, it has no messages on, so everyone who visits the site should leave one because it's the polite thing to do and we desperately want to feel popular.

7.6.2001
Due to exams we haven't played together since our last gig so nothing new has really happened. We've been offered a couple of gigs at the Foundry but unfortunately we can't play any of them. Looks like we will never realize our dream of playing the Foundry since it will be knocked down at
the start of July.

22.4.2001
Last nights gig was awesome. There was a good crowd which filled most of the Flapper and I don't think anyone was disappointed. Unfortunately, we had to cut our set short because everyone was running late from the soundcheck and because it was a Sunday, all the bands had to be finished by 10:30. Consequently, we played everthing at double speed but we still played quite well. Once again we were joined on stage by the Panzie People for Lazy Gaze. Cheers to everyone who came down and made it an amazing night for us and to Datura for giving us the gig and playing a storming set.

3.4.2001
Two new live tracks have been uploaded onto mp3.com from our first ever gig at Monkey Mick's last year. They are Funkmaster 5 and the previously unrecorded Nu Song with its Jazz Intro.

21.3.2001
Yesterday we were presented with an award for the best performance on Friday. It means a lot to us since this came from the fans and not all of the corporate fat cats. The people love us, they really love us.

16.3.2001
We gave Lazy Gaze its live debut at Vesey's Comic Relief talent show today. Since it was for Comic Relief, we were joined on stage by the dancing 'Panzie People' (aka Carl Maisey, Kris Kelly, Matt Owen, James Howle). Everything went smoothly, no mistakes and the sound quality was even pretty damn good. The reception was awesome (by around 300 people!) and we're all very proud. Some live tracks from last year are on their way, aswell as some new tabs.

7.2.2001
Cool new demo track has been added to mp3.com. The quality is pretty poor but you can get the general idea. Also, there are hopefully a couple more gigs with either Chumpstate and/or Ten Men Jen in the pipeline.

14.1.2001
For anyone who can't get the MP3's in the multimedia section, there is now a link from Multimedia to MP3.com where I have now uploaded them. Also the gig with Datura has been confirmed as 22nd April.

7.1.2001
New mp3's uploaded to the multimedia section. I'm not too sure if they are working or not so feedback would be appreciated.

6.1.2001
New links page and message board added. Check out the other cool Birmingham bands.

3.1.2001
Gig arranged at the Flapper for April (either the 22nd or 27th, I can't remember which) supporting Datura. More information to follow shortly
